Azimuths are given in degrees or mils in a clockwise direction from north, and all azimuths taken from a map are GRID AZIMUTHS.

The point where the line intersects the inside scale of the protractor is your grid azimuth.

Place the index mark of your protractor on the line that you just drew where that line intersects a vertical grid line on your map.

Label the two points "A" and "B", with point "A" being your starting position.

Using a straight edge, draw a line connecting your two (2) points.
